Charlie
Charlie was the most gentle, placid dog we have ever had. You could have put a newborn pup to his nose and he would just have sniffed it. He never jumped up on anyone and he was like an old man from day one. He was never a bouncy pup. You could have trusted him with anyone or anything. He had such good temperament.
He was not shown much once he came out of the puppy classes, due to lack of coat.
He had a successful puppy career winning best puppy awards and getting placed in the gundog puppy group. He qualified for Crufts 1995. At his first show at six months old he beat his litter sister, Lawpark Run for Free, for best puppy in breed.
We put him to sleep on 27th December 2007 at the age of fourteen and a half years, to prevent further suffering.
